MONTOURSVILLE — State police at Montoursville were called to the scene of a one-vehicle crash that took place along state Route 414 in Brown Township, Lycoming County, on June 14.

According to police, a 2008 Sterling Tri-Axle being driven by Jared Sheasley, 54, of Jersey Shore, was loading an excavator. The excavator and trailer began to lean and it fell onto its side. The tip-over blocked both lanes of state Route 414. Police say that Sheasley was wearing his seat belt during the crash and did not sustain an injury.

Police were assisted at the scene by DCNR. The crash took place at 9:38 a.m.

JERSEY SHORE — State police at Montoursville investigated a case of theft by deception that took place along Williams Lane in Mifflin Township, Lycoming County, on June 6.

According to police, someone stole the identity of a 23-year-old Jersey Shore woman and opened a credit card in her name.

The incident was reported shortly after midnight.

SNOW SHOE — State police at Rockview investigated a case of theft that took place along East Sycamore Road in Snow Shoe Township, Centre County, on April 21.

According to police, the driver of a white tractor trailer pumped diesel gasoline and drove off in an unknown direction. The tractor trailer has an Ohio license plate. The amount of gas stolen was $622.08.

The theft took place at 9 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Rockview.

MILESBURG — State police at Rockview investigated a case of criminal mischief that took place along Front Street in Milesburg Borough, Centre County, on June 13.

According to police, someone stole a potted plant from a porch. The plant belonged to a 40-year-old Milesburg man. The plant is valued at $5.

CENTRE HALL — State police at Rockview investigated a case of harassment that took place along Young Lane in Potter Township, Centre County, on June 14.

According to police, a 36-year-old Boalsburg man harassed a 40-year-old Centre Hall woman who manages a local cleaning service. The man, police said, was a former employee. He was cited for harassment.

The incident took place at 1:31 p.m., police said.

HOWARD — State police at Rockview responded to a crash along Walnut Street in Howard Borough.

According to police, the crash occurred at 5:28 a.m. on June 17 as Adam Nyman, 38, of Howard, fell asleep at the wheel of his Chevrolet Silverado and drifted off the right hand side of the roadway. He proceeded to strike a utility pole then struck two mail boxes, police said in their report.

HOWARD — Dustin Major, 31, of Lock Haven, was charged with harassment against Linnie Watkins, 37, of Blanchard, along Liberty Street in Liberty Township.

According to state police at Rockview, upon arrival on June 19, it was determined that the harassment had taken place.

A summary citation for harassment was completed at MDJ 49-3-02.
